The owners of Little Journeys Academy are child care veterans. Kathleen, Christina and Jessica have more than 25 plus years of child care experience between them. Our team has the understanding and expertise to provide a safe and educational child care program. All have CPR and first-aid training, fingerprints, background checks completed, medical reports, and references. 
Jessica Pavlicek

Jessica Pavlicek, Owner, studied Early Childhood Education at both Neumann University and Delaware County Community College. Jessica has more than five years of formal child care experience, including working for Head Start with the Delaware County Intermediate Unit.

 

I believe that children should have a memorable experience while attending daycare. My goal is to provide the children of Little Journeys Academy with the best possible experiences that will help them fully develop and be prepared for all that life has to offer! - Jessica Pavlicek

 

Christina Venini

Christina Venini, Owner, studied Early Childhood Education at Penn State University. Christina has seventeen years of formal child care experience, is a mother, and is also a certified Medical Assistant.

 

Opening a daycare has always been my dream! I love working with children and enjoy watching them grow into their own personalities. I think it’s important to provide children with a fun, fulfilling and enriched environment. My goal is to ensure that the children of Little Journeys Academy have an enriching experience and enjoy their daily activities.

Kathleen Sweeney

Kathleen Sweeney, Owner and Director, earned her B.A. in Elementary and Special Education from Neumann University before going on to teach first grade students for three years at St. Ignatius in Philadelphia, PA. Kathleen is also a mother, and is a Certified Nursing Assistant.

 

I enjoy creating and implementing new and fun lesson plans that help the children grow and learn every day! My goal is to make sure all of our Little Journeys Academy students are prepared for Kindergarten.
