Infants: 8 Weeks through 12 Months

A baby’s first year is an important time filled with lots of discovery and exploration. During this time, the brain is developing at an amazing rate. Infants will be stimulated throughout the day with individualized activities that arouse their physical, social, emotional and cognitive development. You’ll find us playing peek-a boo, playing with musical instruments and reading stories. The infant room provides pack-n-plays, bouncy seats, swings and baby play mats to ensure your child will remain comfortable throughout the day. This room will be safe and clean so your infant can explore. Our nurturing staff will encourage the growth and development of your infant from tummy time, to rolling over, and eventually crawling.

Young Toddlers: 12 Months through 24 Months

Our young toddler room provides comfortable mats, push and riding toys, puzzles, arts and crafts, and several age appropriate games to help with development of motor skills. Our staff will keep children entertained with songs and reading books before and after nap time. Daily activities promote the development of skills, social competence and self-esteem. Daily experiences recognize children as individuals and as a member of a group. Play equipment and materials are appropriate to the developmental need, individual interests and ages of the children. Play equipment facilitates a child’s emotional, cognitive, communicative, physical and social development.

Toddlers: 24 Months through 36 Months

We follow curriculum which inspires children to learn from the world around them through sensory-related, hands-on activities. Themes are used to introduce information and learning takes place as children explore and manipulate real objects and events. The toddler room provides mats, arts and crafts, building blocks, dramatic play, games and other developmentally appropriate activities. This environment offers more structured learning and self-help skills such as washing hands and face, getting dressed, and eating with utensils.

Preschool: 3 Years to 5 Years Old

This room focuses on Kindergarten readiness skills. Our curriculum is aimed at teaching the children their alphabet, numbers, shapes, pre-writing, learning to count, beginning sounds and so much more. They will also have a weekly theme in which they will be learning through circle time, singing, rhymes and crafts. Children will be using glue, paint, crayons, markers, stickers, and other craft items that will also help with fine motor skills. The day is structured around different centers such as dramatic play, building blocks, cognitive games and puzzles, including, but not limited to, a library filled with books, arts and crafts for creating projects, puzzles and games to manipulate. We encourage teacher instructed activities that include listening to stories, singing, memorization and writing activities. This room also provides mats for naptime.
